Bottoms

Well, I’ve been wanting to see this movie for a long time now and I finally got to see it, so first of all I was very excited as I had heard wonders about the movie.
I'm really happy to say that "Bottoms" didn't disappoint me at any point, I definitely consider it one of the best comedy films of the year. Every detail of this film is so well taken care of and done in such a natural way that although it has taken inspiration from great films such as Fight Club, Kick-ass and Scott Pilgrim vs. The world (one of my personal favourites) it doesn't feel like a repetition of the same formula that has been used for years, on the contrary, Bottoms creates its own formula and tells an excellent story from the comedy and satire.
Personally I loved every aspect of this film, from the script, the performances which were incredible with very talented actors and new promises of cinema which makes me very excited to see them acting in new projects, to the music in which they made a wonderful choice, no doubt Emma Seligman did an excellent job and I can't wait to see more of her directing.
This film is literally my Barbie, I hope that very soon we can have more comedies of this kind, I would also like to add how happy I am that the bloopers are back, I feel that they added a great touch to the end of the film. Without a doubt Bottoms is one of the great gems of cinema this year and totally worth seeing.
