Obsession
holy fuck!
this movie made me on the edge, there's so much to love here. The setting's not fancy, the actors give me a refreshing feeling, but still gave a really outstanding performance.
For bear, holy toxic masculinity. this could be so cute, i feel so much love here, there's so much emotions. Its so argghhhhhh. just if Bear overcame his feelings and just asked her out, rejected or not, he could live a really great life. I feel everything for Sarah, and everyone there. it just really shows no one here is perfect,
but i'm sorry, hot take! when ppl say he's a rapist and whatnot, i think its a really bad take on his character. he's really insecure, and the main problem from him that impacts this whole movie is he mistakes obsession for love because its an emotional need for him. hence the opening monologue (?) from him. I'm not saying he's right for his actions, because (again) after he knew he wasn't with the real Nikki, and he knew real Nikki was in agony (from the phone call and the sleep scene which she was really hopeless to the fact she begged to be killed for all of her suffering to end) he still chose to prioritize his fantasy/desire/obsession he refuses to end her suffering. like, we saw how he coped and he's really trying to fix everything. But what's to fix, if anything about it wasn't even true? thats the point. but i swear, Nikki was such an amazing being, i really hated how he took all of that potential for his desires. but i mean! i cant really give all the blame to him, its the one wish willow bull!!
anyways, everything was so perfect. and Inde Reverette, ur getting so much calls from this. i'm really excited for other projects with her, and maybe from Michael Johnson too!
Ps. This is the more manic version of *the drama*
