Ghost in the Shell

I need to reflect more on the movie more, but it is very good. The animation is incredible, and the setting is very fleshed out. I suppose my misunderstanding has to do with the logic of the cyborg/AI storyline. Maybe it is because I've seen these ideas more interestingly presented, but I don't doubt this is one of the first pieces of art that explore this subject. This very influential movie is a really good look into scifi of its era, and it's incredible. However, I do feel a little dumb for not understanding it. I definitely need to watch it a second time.
