Iron Lung
I'm writing this on my phone. I usually use letterboxd as an archive for the small number of movies I watch over the years since I created this account and even then, I tend to forget this website exists. But since last night, when I watched this movie with friends, I felt overwhelmingly compelled to put this out there. I wish I was a better reviewer, I guess, who could eloquently put their words to review-box, and wax poetic about the beauty and flaws of this film, but I'm not. All I can say is that I love this movie, I love what it is doing and will be doing for Indie creators in every field. I came out of the theaters feeling more complete than when I entered it. That the passion poured into every single frame of this movie somehow manifested into a tangible weight that sits behind my eyes, and my heart. I'm inspired, and I'm in awe, and I feel a whole lot of things I will forever fail to describe. This is a story that has buried itself inside of me. The movie itself and the journey of this production. The whole story. I don't know how to close this off. I love this movie.
