Before Sunset
It doesn’t fall short of the first movie in the trilogy. You can really sense the progression in the depth of their conversations. There’s this bubble of romantic and sexual tension growing throughout the film, constantly expanding. It’s a bit of a shame that it never pops. Maybe it’s a way to keep us hooked for the final movie, or maybe it’s simply not meant to happen yet, I dont’t know. Either way, it leaves you wanting to see this love story through, from where it began in Vienna, to Paris, and wherever it might go next.
