IT WAS GENUINELY GOOD!!! 😭 i was about to cry when claire read the letter out loud. it was beautiful. this movie reminded me so much of love story by taylor swift. i cheered when it played in the movie. my hopeless romantic self is mourning a love story that will never happen to me.

james mcavoy was having the time of his life here. that was intense. it felt unsettling from the moment both families met each other. i don’t usually enjoy slow pace horror thrillers, but this one really got me good. the tension just kept building until it became impossible to look away. i would do anything for my daughter, but but we’re not driving back to that house for the damn doll 💀 my biggest applaud to ant. he was so impressive. despite not having a single dialogue, he still delivered such a powerful performance.

“she’s eating boys!” yes exactly.
