Queer
Disembodied
Luca did it again. This film is so so so incredible and heartbreaking and beautiful. And so so so well made, the shots, the colours, the acting, the music, everything was so insanely done. I do not have the right words to describe how I feel about this film. It goes so much further than many are able to understand. And I also think that this film and it’s scenes can be interpreted in many different ways, what makes it so beautiful. The term disembodied really stood out to me, not feeling like you’re in your own body, I’ve had never heard from this term before this film, and the moment I heard it things started to fall into place for me. I’ve felt disembodied my whole life, I know this feeling so well but I was never able to put a finger on it, not feeling like your living in your body, I still don’t really know how to explain it, but somehow this film perfectly portrayed this feeling, something I have never seen on screen before. I am forever thankful for that. I’ve seen people hating on the way this film is kinda split into two different kinds of genres, I think that this puts so much debt into this film, I like many others did not understand everything when watching this film but it did fell into place, it’s so powerful to watch something you only start to understand when you think about it a lot. This film is like that in many ways, I can’t wait to discover more of this film while thinking about it even more. And I haven’t even talked about the story, it’s so so powerful, and I don’t really know what to say about it, I think this is such a painful story but also a really beautiful one, one that must be told and I am really glad it is. And then the details in this film, it’s insane, though it’s Luca we are talking about so I did not expect anything less. There are so many little details that I still have to discover, what is something I absolutely love about films. This is a masterpiece, that’s heartbreaking but also so insanely beautiful. Luca never disappoints.
