Challengers
First off: whoever made/chose the music deserves to get eaten out/sucked off idc
Forgetting the girl you were about to have a threesome with cause you’re making out with your best friend since you’ve been 12 is SOOOO heterosexual..
The movie was genuinely amazing though.
I’m gonna be honest and say that I did not concentrate too much on their relationship debacle as Mike Faist wearing red was quite distracting💔 that does not mean that I did not love seeing Art’s and Patricks relationship change over the years especially after Tashis leg. The sauna scene with Patrick trying to kind of reconnect with Art and him trying to seem as if he was done with their relationship(you’re not fooling anyone) was probably one of my favourites. With the churro scene obviously,it is iconic,it is cute and it is simply amazing.
Though, I can never understand how they so easily got over both of them always sleeping with her even though one of them was in a commited relationship with her at these times..bros before hoes?
Even though it might seem weird,I actually also really enjoyed seeing Tashis and Arts life as a married couple. While I do believe that Patrick was not all too wrong with his “tennis racket and dick” theory, I also think that she still learned to love art as a person and that she respects him for his work and the way he trusts her when it comes to his play. Also her respecting that he wants to retire after his season even though she is obviously upset about it.
Also had to wonder if the locker room scene with Patrick, in which he was scrolling on a dating app and him swiping right on a guy was a sign of his sexual fluidity or a sign of his desperation for a place to sleep even if it meant being with a guy for the time being..we will never know
