Pacing was off but stylisticly a lot of fun. Love the editing and the visuals Plot was pretty predictable tho. Nice film overall.

The importance this movie holds in my life is something I honestly couldnt express even if I tried but i shall do my best. The music i grew up with was usually Bollywood or Hindustani Classical since both my mom and my uncle practiced them and the music in this film was classic opera and a western musical film, something incredibly foreign to me but something I enjoyed a lot as well due to my mom drawing parallels with the music i was familiar with. Singing Do-Re-Mi with my mom will forever be one of the best memories. It might as well have opened the doors to a whole new world of music in my mind. I watched this for the first time when I was like 6 years old, so i didn't remember the plot or what happened in the film very well but I did remember the beautiful green hills, the children singing together, the dance in the glasshouse when it rained and the family hiding in the Abbey. So it goes without saying that the cinematography was stellar leaving a mark even on a toddler. These images stayed with me till I rewatched this film a few months back at the Red Lorry Film Festival for the first time in 10+ years and again a few weeks back at Regal Cinema. The crowd singing Edelweiss brought a tears to my eyes along with extremely goosebumps. All I truly have to say is that I'm thankful to have seen this masterpiece at my favourite movie theatre. ❤️ PS: Charmian Carr has to be one of the most beautiful women EVER.

Doesnt hit any part of your brain in any way whatsoever. The plot is interesting and the cinematography is nice sometimes. Decent acting by Rahul Bhat who i really liked in Ugly, everyone else is just reciting their lines. Forgettable movie
