Before Midnight
"If you want true love, then this is it"
Hey, so this actually hurt my feelings. I mean it was beautiful, but it was like a snap into reality. The past two were so dreamy and almost fantasy-like. It was the perfect relationship. This time, it's still love, but with real issues and problems that happen as we grow older. It causes bumps, sometimes even mountains, but the way you get through that is together and you come back stronger. I mean, the best scene was probably when Celene stepped out the hotel room and Jesse waits for her to come back per usual... and she doesn't.
Yes, they fight a lot. Yes, they insult each other so much. But when haven't they? As Celene once said "why does everyone think conflict is a bad thing" (or something like that). It allowed them to grow and in a way, restart. They understood each other even more and realized that fighting wasn't going to change anything. No one was gonna accept defeat, so they move on and continue to love each other as they always did.
This trilogy is the best trilogy of all. It was beautiful, it was real, it was an adventure, it was perfect. Aw man, I hope a fourth happens someday when they're old.
