Nosferatu

If I could give this a million stars, I truly would. Rose Depp was absolutely outstanding in this. Her performance felt so real and it actually makes you so disturbed. The natural and realistic lighting adds to the suspense and really gives you that vampire/Gothic feel that one would expect from a film such as Nosferatu. I adore how this film is all about the actual scariness and original tale of the vampires and isn't romanticized. I would also like to say that I appreciate, so very much, that the sexual content that the film contains actually has a purpose and isn't there for entertainment like most films do nowadays. The scenes of this content do not go for long either which I appreciate. And as always, me being the lighting lover, i loved the lighting and the symbolism and foreshadowing it presents/serves so much. I'm truly obsessed and it's all I'm thinking of as I write this. This movie was so disturbing and I loved every second of it. This is my top film of the year and is definitely going in my top 4. This film deserves every award it will receive, and I say will because it must. Every actor and person behind the camera but their nosfetussy into this and I thank them all for bringing this masterpiece to life and reestablishing noseferatus legacy into the modern world.
