Cure

wow— this really got under my skin. it’s been a long time since i came across a thriller mystery that inserts just enough elements of suspense in the mundane. it’s practically genius how the film takes its hypnotic concept and applies it on the viewer as you’re caught in a trance the entire time and only let out of it when the credit rolls.  i’ve got so much thinking and reading to do on this because there are so many theories in my head that i’d like to untangle.  definitely would love to revisit it at one point in the future.
