Woah, this is definitely the best Spiderman movie I've seen thus far. Maguire may be my favourite Spiderman too.. but that feels hard to say with the Tom Holland fans around. However, I don't think Maguire is the best Peter Parker by any means. Dr. Octopus was a great villain and the fight scenes were very cool. The train scene was genuinely the best scene in a superhero movie that I can think of. But Harry is insufferable.. like I know you're sad cause of your dad but like.. do you have to mention it at every given moment? Anyways, I'm gonna watch Spiderman 3 and also the Andrew Garfield movies before I decide who my favourite Spiderman is.

My least favourite out of the Spiderman's for sure. Andrew Garfield acting is great and his comedic lines are one of my favourite things out of all three Spiderman's but he does not play Peter Parker or Spiderman himself better than the other two. Gwen Stacy is a great love interest and I enjoy every scene shared between her and Peter but I spend the whole movie waiting for more of her.. which isn't the point of the movie. The suit looks digital?? It is distracting and I just can't explain why. The combat is okay but nothing special. If this was just a normal film and not a Spiderman film, I would like it a lot more. But for this to be a follow-up to Sam Raimi's trilogy.. it falls flat unfortunately. I like the angst teen vibe though.

I didn't really like this one compared to how good the second movie was which was a huge disappointment for me. I expected the introduction of the black suit to be better but I just didn't enjoy the whole storyline. Harry's accident and MJ's storyline in general were really empty. I don't hate Kristen Dunst's MJ but I do in this movie. Not that I don't sympathise with her, but the way she acts and treats Peter wasn't great on her part but all the blame solely lays on Peter and it irriates me. And I expected more of Venom, but he was also fell flat as a whole. Though there is definitely worse superhero movies and there are still aspects I love about this, it doesn't hold up at all compared to it's predecessors. Also, the digital effects were horrendous. Sam Raimi isnt known for his effects, I know. But this could've been so much better.

Was this the Chinese remake of taken? Yes. The brutality? Amazing. The action? Choreographer needs more credit. The 25 minute long end fight? Too long.. This was great. You don't really find good action movies anymore but this was a surprise for sure. The brutality was completely unexpected but I loved it. The scenes using the ice blocks were so cool and I don't think I've seen much like that over than terrifier but I much preferred the ice usage here to be honest. But the final fight was a little too long and the characters lasting that long just became rather annoying. The bald guy was another species and the guy in the red tracksuit was barely even shown before lasting 20 minutes in a fight scene. But a great action movie and some very cool shots for sure.
