Sentimental Value
How cruel life is,to burden us with the pain of what came before us, the tremendous tragedy each soul carries. Sentimental Value struck me deeply. I saw myself in Nora, and my sister in Agnes. I seem incapable of caring, when in truth all I do is feel. And selfishly, throughout the entire film, I was afraid of becoming her. I watched my greatest fear unfold before me, framed as something achingly beautiful,a cinematic work of art. While watching the last scenes I was shaking, the fear had taken all of me and yet the ending gave me hope. It can end. It will.

But why did my childhood ruin only me?*
