Slacker

I honestly forgot this was a film at times, everything about it feels so real and natural that it could've been some sort of documentary! I love how the camera floats about, taking us character to character around Texas. Everyone has their own clear and interesting personality, really behaving like real people that you would've met around the time period! My favourite character was by far the old anarchist, super interesting and funny! I can't believe it's taken me this long to watch it, I absolutely adore the early 90's slacker aesthetic and I definitely identify with the whole laid back ethos (I honestly felt called out by some of the characters, especially with some of the "intellectual" ones, I rly hope I don't come off as that pretentious irl aha)
