Hereditary

Simply a new horror classic, my first rewatch since this came out and it was even better the second time. The scares are less about getting an instant reaction, which they do but I really think the emphasis is on the lingering guttural dread that embodies this movie.  Standout performances from literally every single person in this, but i’m an absolute sucker for both Toni Collette and Ann Dowd.
