This movie berlinga to a genre I call: “Hell Yeah”

The greatest film about film that has ever been made and likely ever will be made. A melancholic joy to the eyes ears and soul. We go to the movies for movies like *Cinema Paradiso*.

A Frankensteins monster of every coming of age film put through a TikTok blender that spits out an inoffensive indie film (which isn’t actually indie) which has essentially *nothing *to say. I’m still embarrassed I used to like this short. It’s the kind of thing where you really have to think critically on what you’re watching to realize what you’re watching because everything is just so *fine. *Everything is serviceable and bland. And sure, some of the hate for this film might stem from jealousy of Wesley Wang’s success, but just think about the so-called “messages” this tried to convey and the whole thing comes crumbling down fast.
