After watching the first two of the trilogy, I have to say this one was quite underwhelming- but let's start with the positives: The location was a pleasant change, and it really enhanced the beauty of the shots (as per the average Mediterranean country). I suppose the romance bit was decent, the chemistry between the two actors carried it throughout after all- but that's where the positives really end. My main critique on the other hand, is that some scenes felt a bit forced. Seriously, Moriarty's return and "evil aspirations" seemed like a total gimmick. I was closer to laughing as opposed to being concerned at half the scenes where she showcased her "evilness" (take for example the water scene with Sherlock). Therefore, the story wasn't interesting enough and I'd figured out what would happen by the halfway point. It's a shame really because the first two movies were actually decent but I suppose it is what it is.

There are really not a lot of good movies with good sequels, thus the reason I rarely bother to watch them. This one however, was great from start to finish- it really had a full circle moment, if you may. Nothing more to say really, as most of the praise has been spent on Vol 1- just one note though- I'd say binge watching both the Kill Bills was worth it. side note: that poster looks insanely cool
