this is now the third kore-eda project ive seen with hiroshi abe as the lead and im just struck by how convincingly he plays a boy faliure son (IN ALL THREE!) while being maybe the closest person we have to handsome squidward adonis yet another incredible piece on love, monotony, family, grief, and COOKING by the master
