I was so excited to finally watch this and by god it lived up to the immense hype I gave it. The crew are all realistic with their decisions and I appreciate that same goes for their reactions like Lambert just wanting to give up as soon as it got rough it shows a nice contrast to each other. I liked what they did with Ash honestly. The whole nontrust thing really didn’t bring me to that conclusion so it did catch me off guard. The sets are fucking insane like I feel like I notice that whenever I watch an older movie with really nice sets but when you get used to blue screens and poor cgi being done for as big as locations and sets it makes me so much more appreciative for good practical sets. Honestly I felt like the killing of the xenomorph was my ONLY lackluster reaction and maybe it's because that was their plan the whole time so when Ripley did execute it it was done and done. But then again after the explosion and her iconic "I got you you son of a bitch" it does leave you thinking it's dead.
