Superman

NOW THAT WAS A FUCKING CAPE FLICK LETS FUCKING GO. I’m so glad this was my first experience with Superman. I’m so glad I got to see Christopher Reeve portray Clark and Kal-El. I can not express how hyped I was watching this. How giddy and happy I was seeing Clark grow up so full of love and heart for Earth and its people, watching Superman save things as big as missiles threatening an entire state to kitties in trees and robbers climbing walls, and seeing Clark bundle his way around his job. Meeting all his colleagues and fitting in but ever so slightly not so. His mannerisms work effortlessly transitioning between Superman and Clark. Everyone else is amazing. Gene Hackman was absolutely hilarious as were his assistances. Jimmy and Lois are great but man Lois and Clark’s blooming love is FUCKING AMAZING. Like their chemistry was so good. I’m like awestruck right now. Please please PLEASE let James Gunn’s Superman be like this.
