What the fuck Curry Barker Im not one who usually enjoys horror movies but this was magnificent, insanely gripping and entertaining whilst keeping you on the edge of your seat for two thirds of the runtime. That score was also amazing, backed by a very good sound design Seriously there were so many truly unsettling moments in this movie, i don’t know how to explain the love i have found for this film. Most boring film of the 2020s? 🎞️🎞️🎞️ I genuinely can’t be bothered with a long review for this one. But ill say, it has some serious pacing issues, the first half worked but the second half of the movie was unbearably slow, it was also not that creepy tbh, the first half had some unsettling scenes and vibes to it but the second half ruined that completely. And don’t even get me started on that ending. Although it has these issues I’m still quite impressed by Kane parson, same age as me and directing this is seriously impressive and not a horrible start to your directing career. The VHS filming thing was also quite cool. **Edit:** On second thought 1.5 stars may have been a bit too harsh, it is now a 2 star **Edit 2:** The more i learn about the lore the better this becomes, i think thats if i actually did some research i might’ve enjoyed this a bit, recommending anyone that hasn’t seen it yet to look into the lore beforehand **Favorite lines** > *“Best part, you can eat them.”* 4/10 pirates
