It’s incredible to me that people say they feel bad for Lon and that this film romanticises cheating because whilst in some aspect I can slightly understand it, I feel this film is beautifully crafted to tell the audience to follow your heart and marry the person you love and not someone who’d give you stability or money. I could list an endless number of reasons why I don’t think Allie should of ended up with Lon truly.
