Death Note

I could go on forever about how incredible this anime is. It’s dark, grimy, gothic, and bleak, with such a surreal atmosphere that completely sucks you in. The writing is phenomenal. L and Light are genuinely two of the greatest characters ever written. The imagery is stunning, the vibes are immaculate, and the lore is so fascinating and well constructed. I know a lot of people don’t like the final 12 episodes, but I honestly don’t feel that way at all. For me, it’s just as good. The writing is just as sharp and the story still holds its intensity. Near is cool too, and I think that part of the story deserves way more credit than it gets. Anyway, this is PEAK anime, honestly, peak fiction. I already want to rewatch it again.
