Babylon

96% Fablemans can piss off because this is how you make a movie about cinema. I was pretty set on a 4.5 stars but the ending was probably top 3 movie endings of all time. For the majority of its runtime this movie encapsulated me and sucked me into every scene. The acting was phenomenal, I felt a connection to every single lead character. There was chaos, emotion, violence and tense moments but they were all so well balanced. The way this movie was able to switch genres so effortlessly really impressed me. The Tobey Maguire horror sequence was freaky asf. This is also probably the funniest movie I’ve ever seen. I was crying of laughter. I did think the pacing was a bit off. It was perfect for the first 2 hours or so but it really was feeling quite long by the time you get to the end of it. Still amazing. Top 30 Movies
