NANA

“Hey Nana” This was phenomenal and one of my favorite anime i’ve watched in a long time every character feels like such a real person good and bad they make real decisions that might not be the best one but it’s a human one even if it’s a mistake. I love the the contrast between Hachi and Nana with how complex their relationship is like they both love and care for each other but each have their own issues that start to weigh in each other by the end Hachi’s main one being how she falls in love too quickly while at the same time worrying too much about herself and not her partner while Nana’s is very prideful but also manipulative/possessive because of her abandonment issues. Shin is my absolute favorite and even though i hate how he has a relationship with Reira i can’t lie and not say some of my favorite dialogue moments don’t come from there, i just feel bad for him cause he really is just a kid who grew up too fast and doesn’t feel like he should be here. Lastly the music is phenomenal Rose has been stuck in my head since starting this Wish is also amazing and even Lucy which i wasn’t liking too much at first grew on me by the end also no joke intended but the ending song Black Tears had me in tears after the finale episode cause even though im gonna continue with the manga up until it went on hiatus it felt like watching some friends move away without knowing when you’ll see them again, Ai Yazawa i beg for you to finish NANA one day please it’s just too good to be left like that i just want to hear once again… “Hey Hachi”
