Nosense atmosphere, nosense photography, a stunning chiaroscuro, the malincholy is amazing, like the acting, this is 'The Italian Comedy' for real. Lots of emotions caused by the relations with family, friends and the opposite sex connected to the desperation of the small town daily life that force you almost to the idea of leaving. The neorealism of 50's that is still terribly relevant and that hurt you inside. However the music amplifies it a lot, an example of what Nino Rota can do, one of the best composer of the italian history. A Fellini example of art. Masterwork.
