I know it’s a cult meme but tommy wiseau was really trying to make a serious movie. He wasn’t joking and that’s what makes it so funny. nothing feels real. the acting is bad the dialogue is bad the sound feels dubbed and that weird laugh after every line drives me insane. and somehow he even managed to mess up the sex scenes. one of them doesn’t even look like sex. it looks like he’s just fucking her stomach and then he reuses the same scene like three times. also vodka with pizza??? everyone knows you drink wine with pizza.it feels like a 100-minute version of those fake baldness oil commercials.but I’ll give it that it was interesting it’s so bad that I got invested just trying to figure out what was going on since nothing makes sense. Half a star as a film. Five stars as a cult experience
