So so SO many inconsistencies. Like I know time travel doesn't exist (yet?) but this is definitely not how it would've worked or ended

> ***"Emma, true love is complicated. It's about acceptance. Radical acceptance."***it starts off almost too perfect, pretty people, pretty apartment, a love that looks curated instead of lived in. It almost makes you think it's a cute romcom. and then one confession just ruins everything. not in a big dramatic way, just in that quiet way where you can tell just by the actions of the characters, and you can’t really go back to how it was before. what makes it worse is that the movie doesn’t really tell you who to side with. it just lets everything happen, like it doesn’t want to resolve anything for you. you’re just watching two people try to keep going after everything between them has already shifted. zendaya’s character, Emma gets really misunderstood, but not in a simple way. she’s actually shown multiple times trying to prove she changed and prove she’s not the same person she was when everything started falling apart. she’s not just saying it either, she’s actually doing the work. but charlie just can’t fully trust it, even though you can tell he wants to. he wants to believe her, but he needs reassurance and someone to tell him it's okay so badly. Not to mention how, if you really think about it Emma was the only one reacting to everyone's terrible confession's how everyone actually did something bad, and didn't get judged but Emma got judged for what she didn't do. it’s not really about the twist. it’s more about what happens after, when love is still there, but trust isn’t. And the movie doesn’t do anything flashy with that idea
