I have never been more disappointed in a movie. With the way everyone, especially around my age, raves about *Scarface*, i really thought i was in for an incredible experience. I was not. I kinda get the appeal. Tony Montana is fucking cool, I'll give him that. You wanna root for him, even though he's a piece of shit. I really liked the restaurant-breakup scene (Al Pacino and restaurant huh), which showcases that exact piece-of-shitness. Props to Pacino for this. And it's a drug and guns movie, it's gonna be pretty fun. The ending rocks, too. But that's the only redeeming qualities i can find... Weird dialogue, pretty poor performances across the board and it drags on a goddamn eternity. This had no business spanning 3 long hours. I swear Scorcese could do the same movie in 120 minutes and it would shit on this. I know Brain de Palma is a legend, but his filmography gives me a bad first impression. I'll have to watch Carlito's way soon I guess. To everyone that sold Scarface as one of the best/entertaining/cool/whatever movies of all time, you owe me three hours. I am really really harsh, but i expected so much more man...

What i take away from this : grogu is cute, mando is tuff and the hutts mostly suck. The rest of the movie is horrible.

Magnifique. Magnifique. Magnifique. Si ce film n'avait pas quelques bonnes longueurs, il serait probablement dans le top 28 des meilleurs films que j'ai vu ;)

What's with park chan wook and making the most insane last acts?? That last shot belongs in a museum. Wow. Don't go into this expecting a follow-up to oldboy, it's not related at all. It's a completely different story with new characters, but the main goal is still vengeance. Nonetheless, It's still well worth the detour.
