Mysterious and dreamlike. The movie starts really slow and ends really slowly. By no means, bad, but not for everyone

Everyone on earth should watch this at least once. It’s a true shame that the people who need to see it most will understand and value it the least.  Upon what I think is my third rewatch I find there is such depth that I missed before. The humans are not right for wanting to kill the forest. The forest is not always good because it wants to kill humans. This movie poses a question. Is it possible to find balance and harmony between the two? I believe that absolutely yes. Humans are greedy and destructive, but we can live in peace with nature. Sometimes it takes a few people who understand that we can change for the better to show those humans who do not understand the better path I love this movie. Hayao Miyazaki during one of his peak storytelling eras with this one.

Impassioned. Invigorating. Incredible. I don’t want this film to be a memory, I want to keep it with me and savor it. We all must turn around at some point. I’m glad I can return to this again someday
