Lady Bird

I love how we can feel the premise of the film by just staring at it. Their eyes tell an unwritten script that sort of holds your heart in the beat of the moment. How they deliver their performance was a shot to the heart: How the story managed to stack stories of Christine's newfound life and the side characters' too. How they portray different stories of life before turning 18 is a quiet reflection to the audience watching. It's a layered story that makes your heart yearn for a warm hug of your mother.
