Interstellar
I was actually spaced out after watching this and that's no joke. The whole concept of time relativity and this weird almost dystopian vibe was quite strange. The score is absolutely brilliant with Hans Zimmer creating a masterpiece, it was eerie, emotional and intense. The acting is brilliant with Matthew McConaughey putting so much emotion into his performance. And of course Matt Damon wants to go home. Time in this is so interesting with the whole thing of decades passing on earth in a few hours. The clock ticking for one day is a great touch too. Earths situation is this is very interesting as well as the planets the crew go too. The cinematography is just incredible with Gargantua and Saturn both looking absolutely stunning. Everything going quite with shots in space is such a good effect and adds so much more beauty to the film. Interstellar is such a complex film and while I understood most of it I finished it feeling wiped out, spaced out but all in a good way. When a film has this effect on you you know its good.
