The Incomer

My main question throughout this film was "is that a dildo?". I have to say though, I have never seen a dildo be the main weapon in a film before. The Incomer is such a brilliant film, it feels so original. If I was describing the plot to someone I don't think it would sound like anything else. This is Louis Paxton's debut feature and its pretty impressive for that. Isla and Sandy are hilarious siblings especially when they keep fighting and squabbling. The conversation with Daniel about veganism is so funny and thats only one of the many points that got us all laughing at the cinema. The ending felt really lovely too. Tom Kingston's music for this is pretty weird and added to the odd vibe. It reminded me of Aphex Twin. Honestly though this is such brilliant, funny, odd film. **Sound & score - 9/10 Acting performances - 10/10 Plot & pacing - 10/10 Writing - 10/10 Cinematography - 7/10 Personal enjoyment - 9/10**
