“The only thing that stops a bad guy with a gun is a good guy with a gun.” I'd like to think this was in the writers room when they were coming up with this. A mutual on here talked about how deep this was and it really is that deep. No-one is born evil, different situations push you and grief being an underdiscussed emotion can cause a lot of people to soothe themselves in ways that objectively are bad but that's without context and when Hiro discovered this with Callaghan; he could immediately relate and understand turning his quest for revenge to now a rescue mission. Mind you, all of this is packed into an animation for kids lol. This isn't my first time watching this as the first time i watched it I wondered why it was called Big Hero 6 but i totally missed that Hiro needed people around (his nerds in his case) and they all band together to form 'Freddie's Angels'. Shout out to all the aunts and uncles that try their best!
