Adolescence

This is an important watch. Everyone should watch it, particularly fathers, men, and boys. While it may not fully define toxic masculinity, it shows the damage it has caused to our world and to our humanity. Some scenes were difficult and emotionally triggering, but that discomfort is part of why it matters. This film helps us confront uncomfortable realities about the world we live in. Honestly, I would have rated it 5 stars, but the movie doesn’t fully explore the experiences and influences that shaped Jammie’s behavior. Like yes, we do get it that social media and his environment made him but more depth there would have made it truly complete.
