Amélie

Amelie’s the only foreign film I can put on in the background and still keep up with the plot while doing other things. It’s become such a staple and comfort watch for me that I genuinely believe other romance films struggle to match up to it. It’s the feeling of coming home to a place I’ve never known, and maybe that’s what the director intended.
