I throughly enjoyed this film and how well it portrays loneliness and being touched starved. From the start, all May wanted was Adam. Adam says he ‘likes weird’ , makes a film about people eating each other but then gets freaked out when a girl bites his lip whilst making out? Also?? The poor cat?? HELLO??

The path to redemption is through forgiveness - absolution" The acting in this film was so terrible, the film was slow, it barley followed the plot until the last 30 minutes and it literally made 0 sense. If he was kidnapped when he was 6, and it’s five years later, he should be 11, but he literally STILL looks six.

༘⋆🪚 ༘ ೀ⋆｡˚“That's the last goddamn hitchhiker I ever pick up” The film was 90% screaming with some very beautiful shots.

.°˖⋆𐚁.°˖⋆"I wish I knew how to quit you."  Oh my goodness. Talk about slowburn.  A relationship that lasted 20 years but they never actually dated? I feel like you’ll never ever find a gay film like this that can make you laugh and cry ever ever again. This film captures gay love so so well (in my opinion) because probably 99% of the time, one man will be sure about his sexuality and the other will be in COMPLETE denial but still do gay shit. I don’t really know how to explain it but I have seen so many situations like that it’s concerning 😬  I love the relationship between Jack and Ennis so much. Jack was patient for YEARS which just showed how much he loved Ennis, and he got UNDERSTANDABLY upset when Ennis didn’t want a relationship. He YEARNED for that man.  I understand why Ennis is the way he is, but I feel like he should’ve treated Jack better than he did. I understand that he was in denial about his sexuality, but still.  I can never deal with gay people in denial because of their parents. It will ALWAYS ALWAYS ALWAYS make me absolutely ball my eyes out because WHAT do you mean you’re denying yourself love because of the way you were raised. But oh my LORD, Jack fumbled his wife so bad 😞 If you don’t want her, I’ll have her because she FINE.  The ending absolutely destroyed me. I UGLY cried. The shirt in the closet, the postcard of brokeback mountain, ‘Jack I swear’, the tears, THE GUITAR. OH MY GOD. I almost started rocking back and forth I swear. They were supposed to have their ranch and heard sheep. Unfair.  Uhh I can’t think of what else to write right now because it is 2:14 am, but I will (hopefully) come back to update this review.
