wow wow wow wow, this movie is actually insane, i watched it in imax and everything felt so huge it was craaaazy. i think this adaptation is very well done even tho its not fully accurate in some parts i actually don’t even mind because it is so well done, i also hope that hoyte van hoytema wins a 2nd oscar for best cinematography cause his camera work is insane (our dutch pride hahaaa) i think i understood most of this movie cause of percy jackson book 2 sea of monsters cause of the characters and monsters in the film (same greek myths) also tell my why percy did all ts in 3 days heelloooo????? i think anne hathaway’s performance was also so so so soooo good, everything she said really just kind of hit you and her emotions felt so raw and real, also i was shocked because i have never seen a film of hers with this kind of role so that was really cool to see. overall i think this film is so breathtaking and unforgettable, it’s one of those films that reminds you why going to the cinema is so special.

this shit touched me damn. this movie is so beautifully made i could cry, in part 3 when chiron is all grown up he looks so tough but then he gets that call from kevin and he just is the same boy that he always way and that just amazes me cause i see his younger versions in his damn eyes this is what you call acting wow it’s so so so so good. i also looked up the name chiron cause it reminded my of some mythological (percy jackson centaur….) and his name actually is symbolic as “wounded healer” and i think that the name choice is perfect because even tho he has a unhealable childhood trauma he still tries to shield those he loves. i also love how the parts in this movie like “little” “chiron” and “black” are how the world perceives him at that time and it also shows his identity in parts it’s so genius.

i feel like i’m 7 watching this again absolute perfection.
