Lost in Translation
A truly beautiful film , its aesthetic fits nicely with the direction of the story and the score is awesome
The title “lost in translation” couldn’t be any more fitting for this movie, an obvious reference to being lost and misunderstood in Tokyo with its language barrier, life in general for both main characters, but also the struggle between bob and charlotte to express their truer feelings about each other because of their estranged relationships
which is
what makes the the ending so satisfyingly somber
