Eraserhead

i've been avoiding watching eraserhead for a while because my mom always warned me that watching it would make me lose my mind. i figured it was about time i tested that theory. she was half right. i can't stop thinking about this film. i honestly had no idea what was happening the entire film but i had this overwhelming sense that i loved it. i love the black and white artistry, i love the impressive mutant child, i love the whole unreality of it all, that at the same time none of it was real and all of it was real. i will be thinking about this film every night before bed and reading dissertations on it until i die.
