This ten-minute short film can be watched here: 9 (2005) In a futuristic world full of destruction and debris, a little sack creature must fight of monsters to save his soul and the souls of his friends. I loved the animation in this film and the story, though simple, was entertaining. You really find yourself rooting for the little guy. Director and writer, Shane Acker, would later develop this concept into a full-length movie. I have not seen 9 (2009) but I feel that ten minutes is about the right time for me to spend in this world. For me it feels like beauty representation of a marked duality in a destroyed society, one being the ones that want to live in community searching for supplies and using their souls as fuel for their life, and the one who's life survivance depends of stealing stealing and killing the ones that only try to live peacefully. Definitely going to see the full movie with the man who wears wigs and the number 9

Good I like knowing what the 2009 movie was based on however there just wasn’t enough going for it to reach its movie equivalent
