I watched this with friends, and they were both sleepy and had to tap out on this film. I cannot believe that guy's sympathetic story is that he was a sex tourist in Thailand who thought some girl was a prostitute, and he got cursed for abandoning her after she fell in love with him. I don't see the pacing as a major problem, and in fact I think it helps make the whole film feel very dreamlike once you hit a certain point. With that in mind, I really liked this movie a whole god damned lot. I didn't like the subtitles, so I haven't taken a quote from this film.

No doubt trashy in parts, Bewitched transcends its questionable plot and moral through its crazy special effects and unrelenting pace particularly in the second half. Any and all ideas appear to have been shoved into the runtime to emphasise the occultish themes and it makes for a killer time.

*"the moral of this story is to admonish people against casual sex"* no??? the moral of the story is clearly that buddhist monks are better protection than prophylactics..
