This film has very special meaning to me. Not because of its contents, or when I watched it, or its message, or the actors, or anything like that. This is the first (and only, so far) film that I have personally had added to Letterboxd.
I had it added because I am working my way through all of the Disney short films. I am over 250 films in. For reference, I am using the Wikipedia Walt Disney Animation Studios Short Films list. It is a complete and exhaustive list. It includes not only the short released to theaters, but also those from DVD (or VHS) only, from attractions, from internet, or special release. This film was on the Wikipedia list, but not in Letterboxd. Cranium Command was a short film shown at the Wonders of Life Pavilion. The Wonders of Life Pavilion closed in 2007 and along with it the Cranium Command exhibit. Fortunately, the film lives on on the internet and in the Disney archive.
The film Cranium Command is really more of an interactive experience (I hope Letterboxd lets it stay as a film). There was an introductory film and then a slow ride touring the brain. The video link takes you through the whole experience.
The film itself and its main character General Knowledge are oddly aggressive for a Disney film, but in a funny military way. The contents are present in a fun way and actually educational. I remember, vaguely, experiencing this at EPCOT in the early 2000s.
