Why do people keep bringing up this film when I tell them the premise of my recent short film script. There are obvious merit in this Black Mirror reject but screenlife is a gimmick that became boring the second time someone did it. If only Motwane had shot the film the way he shot the ending, it could have been a great topical piece about tech corporations and their malpractices, released straight on Netflix.
