First of all, I made this and I’m very proud of it so I’m giving it five stars. Second, it’s always so gaggy that this is on letterboxd! I did this film when I was in film school and it wouldn’t have been possible if I didn’t have the incredible cast and crew helping me every step of the way.
A few years back I had such a fire burning in me about wanting to make as many movies as I can. The fire’s still inside me but due to many different things like financial and mental struggles, I haven’t been able to feed the fire. I like to watch First Time once in a while and be reminded of the hope and strength I had in me back then. How happy I was at that moment directing and watching a story I wrote come alive. This gives me hope and I’m so ready to get back into directing again. Hopefully, you’ll see something soon. Hopefully something horror… something bloody… something fun.
Anyway, sorry to be so sappy randomly but it just fills me with pride that this movie happened. I’m so thankful to the cast and crew and thankful to the people who watched. Thank you.
