spoilers but the scene where damon-gerry strangles affleck-gerry and the long walk before that are some of the few movie scenes to genuinely scare me. i need more of that in my life 👍

although it was slow, *Gerry* was still a film i found that i enjoyed. it was visually stunning and also had an interesting concept with an unexpected ending. this is very different compared to what i normally like, and i hope to find myself watching more experimental films like this one (and like them).

luckily there’s not a maverick gas station in the salt flats. i had a burrito there that was 98% bbq sauce ** **
