I saw firsthand just how much time and effort went into this, and to see the finished product genuinely overjoys me. It is gnarlier and grosser than I remember, and genuinely harrowing in all the best ways. Ellis is such a wonderful filmmaker, inventive, bold and completely true to himself in the most uncompromising way. I am so proud of what he made here, and proud to be apart of it. It's been such a joy seeing this take shape, and it's an even greater one knowing that everyone can finally watch it.
