Its been about a month and a half since im back from Tokyo
Stedelijk museum is where i walked into this documentary playing, instantly i realised it was Nans work im looking at.
Amsterdam - Antwerp - Paris - tokyo - back to Amsterdam
Her photography has been following me to these places, as you can see its full circle. From Amsterdam to Amsterdam
So it was only right that i would take the time to properly watch this slideshow / movie. The soundtrack done by nan mica levi & etc, gives the photography another dimension….. a voice.
So carefully yet so confrontational. Beauty was never perfection
Would love to watch again. For the soundtrack. For the photography. For a change of perspective. For a sense of direction.
