Rewatched pendulum after so long time and at first I was expecting a regular psychological thriller and ended up sitting there afterwards trying to piece together my own thoughts like I’d just woken up from a strange dream. The movie doesn’t always work, but I honestly appreciate how hard it tries to do something different. The whole lucid dreaming and time loop angle felt fresh, especially for an Indian film, and there were moments where I was completely pulled in.
